Chris Crumbly is presently the CTO of Orbit Beyond. He spent 25+ years at NASA, Von Braun Center for Science and Innovation, and Teledyne Brown. At NASA: managed spacecraft and payload interfaces for the Space Launch System; Special Assistant to NASA’s Deputy Administrator; Senior Space Policy Analyst at the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy. Currently also Senior Director for Space and Defense Programs at the University of Tennessee Space Institute. AIAA Associate Fellow; recipient of the 2019 Von Braun Award for Excellence in Space Program Management and the 2017 Holger Toftoy Award.
